This is a bookcase, obviously but later on, it will be used as a casket. This is made from pine; no metal screws used at all as requested by the customer. Ordinarily caskets made for Jewish burial are not stained or sealed but since this is multi-purpose, we used a light stain and minimal sealer which still allows for rapid/natural deterioration after burial.
